the ultimate rooftop dinner spot
SAGA brings the fine to fine dining. Located on a higher floor of the same building as FiDi’s favorite, Crown Shy, this high-end spot is owned by the same team. Serving an exquisite seasonal seven to ten course tasting menu for $245 per person, the dining team will accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies with advance notice. While the menu changes often, several dishes are inspired by Moroccan cuisine, making this the first time Chef James Kent is bringing his North African background into his cuisine. Their drinks are amazing and pair excellently with the dishes.
The SAGA dining experience is uniquely crafted with elements typically not present in most fine dining restaurants like the lack of a dress code and vibey music from artists like Chance the Rapper. The ambience is relaxed with elegant and sophisticated decor. The vibe is casual and refined at the same time. Located on the 63rd floor, they have gorgeous views of the NYC skyline. Recently opened, SAGA is the talk of the town. Reservations are hard to get but we’re not surprised with the charm and beauty of this spot. This is the perfect place for a fancy date night or memorable anniversary dinner.

the farm to table but make it bougie spot
One White Street is the talk of the town! With their grand opening on August 5th, this spot is one of the hottest restaurants in NYC right now. The extremely experienced and well-known Chef Austin Johnson and Master Sommelier Dustin Wilson collaborated on creating this one-of-a-kind restaurant that serves amazing food grown from their own farm. Their menu is constantly changing as it relies on what the farm can produce so you’re likely to have a completely new experience each time you go (and trust us, you’ll want to go again). From their Summer menu, we highly recommend the Roasted Striped Bass; it is to die for! We also think you should definitely try their Glazed Gnocchi from their downstairs menu, you won’t regret it.

the classic Italian date night spot
Saint Theos is an elegant Italian spot that brings the flavors and look of Venice to the West Village. With the most decadent and authentic food and refined ambience, this place is perfect for a date night. Start off your delicious meal with their Roasted Oysters or one of their Cicchetti dishes. You can’t miss their heavenly pasta dishes- we love their Pesto Linguini and Seafood Chitarra. And their Ricotta Gomiti is to die for! From the entrees, we recommend the Lamb Chops and Branzino. Of course, dinner can’t be complete without a glass of wine or a martini which will truly make you feel like you’re in Italy. Saint Theos is truly a foodie paradise and they offer great desserts as well – the tiramisu being one of our favorites!

the internationally renowned spot, finally in NYC
One of Spain’s most acclaimed 3-star Michelin chefs, Dani García, opened this cultural gem Casa Dani in Manhattan West’s dining center, Citizens NY! With a menu featuring dishes inspired by García’s home country, Spain with a Mediterranean twist, ingredients are both flown in weekly from Spain as well as sourced locally in New York. If you are a fan of any of Dani García’s restaurants abroad, you might find that the menu carries a lot of resemblance to the super popular seafood-focused restaurant Lobito de Mar. But while some dishes are similar, most are prepared to highlight the unique quality of each dish’s ingredients. All dishes are inspired by the cuisine Dani grew up eating like croquettes, paella and of course the freshest of seafoods! Instinctively, Casa Dani’s core menu consists of tapas but he also spotlights the freshest & most innovative ways to prepare tuna, featuring a whole section of the menu dedicated to the fish. The space is split in 2 by an intimate bar with an attached lounge and a 160-seat mezzanine dining room. To complement García’s homestyle Spanish-Mediterranean food and drinks the space is designed to transport you to an open-air Spanish courtyard, decorating rooms with soft earthy tones, tiles, and hanging plants for a chic elevated outdoorsy feel. The next time you find yourself in Midtown Manhattan, you need to try to get a seat at Casa Dani!
